According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, only 2 percent of HVAC employees are women. That is certainly a tiny part of the industry, but that number has the potential to start to grow as more women begin to see the benefits of pursuing a career in HVACR.

The Palm Beach County CARES Restart Business Grants is a program that is dedicating $60 million in federal dollars to local businesses impacted by the pandemic. Most of the money is dedicated to businesses with 25 or fewer employees. The maximum award is $25,000 based on fund availability. The average grant is about $17,000. The lowest grant given out so far was $964.
