May Membership Meeting: NEF Design Drafting Awards

The Design Drafting Competition is a contest designed by the NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF) to expose High School and College undergraduate students to design drawing and the construction industry. The contest provides recognition to students for creative design, successful problem solving and craftsmanship in preparing architectural drawings. We will be honoring this year's Palm Beach County participants at our May membership meeting, with guest speaker Cici Reidy from Promising People.

Promising People brings together a new way of teaching that gives every individual looking for a fresh start the promise for a brighter future. Their learning program delivers a self-paced training curriculum for trade occupations via 3D Virtual Reality that allows anyone, anywhere, the ability to earn an entry-level certification.
